NHPC hydro power plant in Uri is a run of the river facility that receives a lot of floating trash from Jhelum river which clogs the trash rack and results in plant shutdowns and equipment damages. We deployed a floating trash skimmer to collect the floating trash and designed an extra long discharge conveyor so that the waste could be directly unloaded across the dam wall that was much higher than the waterline. This was a turnkey cleaning project where a custom built machine was deployed by us along with comprehensive operation and maintenance
