Irrigation and Flood Control Department had purchased two nos. Ellicott Cutter Suction Dredges and wanted a locally manufactured towing boat that could be used to tow these dredges from one point to other. We designed, manufactured and supplied a towing boat with twin engines of 100HP each that gave the machine sufficient bollard pull to tow these dredges that weighed in excess of 30MT each
