Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department asked us to carry out corrective dredging to build a channel in River Rapti at Balrampur district so that water flow can be diverted away from flood prone villages. We deployed a cutter suction dredger along with comprehensive operation and maintenance by our staff. The job was completed before the monsoons in less than four months and river water was successfully diverted thus averting a natural disaster for neighbouring villages
