River channelisation for flood protection through corrective dredging at Gurra river, Gorakhpur

Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department asked us to carry out corrective dredging to build a channel in River Gurra at Gorakhpur district so that water flow can be diverted away from flood prone villages. We deployed a cutter suction dredger along with comprehensive operation and maintenance by our staff. The job was completed before the monsoons in four months and river water was successfully diverted thus averting a natural disaster for neighbouring villages
