Govt. of J&K wanted to clean Dal lake that was infested with floating and submerged vegetation. Two custom built weed harvesters were supplied that had extension cutting knives to achieve cutting depth of 20 feet and extra long discharge conveyors to directly unload collected vegetation on Boulevard Road. As the water spread area is over 10 square km, two weed transport barges were also supplied with a hydraulic hitching mechanism to the harvesters so that the barges carried the waste to shore while harvesters collected the next load.
